Merge Academy Only Offering to BUY Stickers to Finish Book?

This side quest is insane in Merge Academy. There's like 21 or 22 days to "complete" the current sticker book yet no new side quest started when the other ended last night. 

I'm very close to finishing the book but I'm NOT SPENDING MY ACTUAL MONEY to do so! 

This is cuckoo!! Is it a bug or is EA just greedy???
