Merge Academy orders in daily

Today's Daily challenge, to complete 2 orders, is not getting credited properly.  In my case, I got credit for my first order but not for my 2nd or 3rd.  So, in spite of completing 3 orders, I only have credit for 1.  My pink gem total appears to be correct.

Others in chat are reporting similar things.

    I cleared my cache as suggested and when I logged back in, the credit was there for the order.

    Hello! Sorry to hear your completed orders are not progressing within the badge. Anytime we see something like this it is important to log out of the Pogo site and follow the troubleshooting instructions

    Because Pogo is a browser‑based gaming site that runs entirely in our browser, keeping our devices updated and clean is essential for smooth communication with our devices and Pogo servers. When glitches or errors occur, they’re most often linked to browser settings, connectivity issues, or cached data.

    Steps to try:

    Update your Browser: Make sure you’re running the latest version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. Outdated browsers can break compatibility with Pogo’s games (even one).

    Clear Cache & Temporary Files: Old cached data can conflict with new updates. Regularly clear your browser cache and cookies to refresh communication with Pogo servers (if you are a heavy gamer this should be done at the very least weekly). Browsers can hold onto outdated files that prevent the new events from loading. Clearing cache/cookies often fixes this.

    I double checked the game and the badge before replying to you and it is currently working as designed.

     

    Please give these troubleshooting steps a try!

  • Think it is deeper than that, progress meter isn't moving but challenges and even ones we are using gems on, are not showing on the Nikolaus the MerryMaker progression meter.

    Hello! Sorry to hear that the progress meter isn't moving for you in Nikolaus the Merry Maker. I doubled the Merry meter before replying to you and it is working as designed at this time.

    Today I went from 18300 to 18900 and collected the freebies on each side. Please try the troubleshooting steps, there could be a few things cause this.

    • System & Browser Issues: Outdated Browser or System can cause response issues and effect registering.
    • Cookies Overload: Corrupted cookies can block login sessions or prevent Pogo from saving your progress. For example, you might collect a freebie, but it doesn’t show up because the cookie storing that action is broken.
    • Cache Overload: Instead of loading fresh game data, the browser may reuse stale files. That can lead to missing graphics, games freezing, or outdated versions of the site being displayed.
    • Graphics & System Drivers: Old drivers can cause lag, flickering, or even prevent elements from operating correctly.
    • Low system resources: If your computer is running too many apps, Pogo games may stutter, freeze, or crash because they don’t get enough memory or CPU power causing a variety of issues.
    • Security & Extensions: Antivirus/firewall conflicts: Overly strict settings can block scripts that Pogo needs to track progress or deliver freebies.
    • Browser extensions: Ad-blockers or VPNs sometimes interfere with game scripts, preventing certain features from loading or rewards from being credited.

    I just came back to the site and it shows that I have finished the daily now.  I'm not sure what happened; I didn't clear cache or anything.  Just glad to have it.

If you didn't clear your cache and cookies, then you cleared one of the cookies called "Session cookies" these are temporary files that exist only while your browser is open. They disappear once you close it. There are actually several types of cookies:
