Merge Academy Vault Stars 300 chest giving out Dupes

Same thing with me I need one to finish the album and did the 300 chest twice and got nothing.  The one I need in Sweet items is also a 5 star.  

Same one. I need middle row far left. Does not sound Encouraging that you have done it twice and it still didn't work. EA doesn't care. I'm just about done with the lack of tech support. They take your money but no where to be found when you don't get the rewards you're owed. I'm sure some other platform would gladly take what I won't be spending here.

For the past couple of days I have needed 1 final 5 star sticker for the lvl 12 sticker album folder. Today I finally collected the 300 stars needed to purchase the sticker pack that "garentees a lvl 5 sticker that you don't own yet". Once I purchased it I received several cards with only 1 being a 5 star sticker but it was 1 that I already owned.

Why didn't I receive the last sticker to complete the album?

This happened to me a week ago but did not have screenshots. Not sure why I keep wasting my time and gems on this game. I have had many glitches over the last month that are infuritating

Realised I hadn't posted here with the news, sorry about that. We did see these reports, and we passed them on. 

The good news is this is on the team's radar, and Pogo_Sconnie has since shared a service update. 🙂 I'll pop it below for you:

We’re investigating reports that the 300-star (orange) Vault Chest may award duplicate stickers, despite messaging that it guarantees a Tier 5 sticker not currently owned.

What we know:

• Some players are receiving duplicate Tier 5 stickers from this chest.
• The tooltip text may not reflect the current behavior in all cases.

 

Important context:

• Duplicate stickers are automatically converted into Stars and added to your Star Vault balance.
• These Stars can be used toward future Vault rewards, so progress is still being accumulated.

 

Status: This is under investigation by the team. We’re reviewing both the reward logic and the in-game messaging to ensure they align.

When that happened to me, I went back and merged them all over again but this time it gave me a different card so I didn't get the rewards for completing that set.  I'm in here reading the complaints to see if any one else was having the same problem I am today. I waited a couple of hours from last time I played and clicked on a generator X4 but the screen that says I'm out of energy came up. it only had 3 energies. Never happened before. POGO is always having issues. Either they don't know what they are doing or they just don't care.  I'd love to come in here one week to congratulate them because they got it right. I just don't think that's ever going to happen.
