Pogo Chat Issues - December 2025

CanadaBabydoll --  please help.  I have been directed to you by EA Support to work on my problem.  When playing Pogo games in the Chat Box it is turning all my chat to (example)  XXXX XXXX XXXXXX XX  please help I have been a member for over 14 years along with my friends and we are all very frustrated!!

I am playing on a just out of the box totally fresh, Surface Pro. It isn't on the user end ; it is on EA. I don't care if it is only a handful of people ; we are paying customers! 

Yes ! The hashtag is so annoying when you are trying to reply to another player ; it makes you look like an idiot! PLEASE fix this sooner than later ! I have been playing and paying for this game for many years but this is aggravating !

I have reported this issue twice with NO resolution.

I think renewing my membership to pogo in OCT. 2025 was a BIG mistake! Some of us are elderly and Pogo is all we have for day to day communication. Well don't count on POGO to let one chat with their friends on Christmas~

You’re right that the issue is not fixed yet. The “Solved” label here doesn’t mean the problem is resolved — it simply marks this thread as the official place where updates will be posted. I understand how that can feel confusing when the issue is still ongoing.

With all due respect, the issue is NOT solved and today is 12/25/25 and way too many Members are still without an answer. It will sometimes allow a word not done in hashtags but the hashtags are the norm for alphabet letters. My laptop is fine including updates. My Pogo works just fine until I try to have a normal chat with a friend. Furthermore, I've been a Pogo Member since 2014 and I am NOT a "rookie" as tagged by my game icon.

Agree Cameron, Hashtag # only is rampant,  All browsers, MAC desktop and Windows 11 laptop, hashtags all the time.

All Pogo needs to do is get rid of all the hashtag bs they have cluttered the chat with. I am a 25 year Pogo member.  Someone at Pogo botched a hashtag upgrade. GET RID OF THEM. All the hashtags are annoying.

You mention graphic drivers as if you think people know what you mean  lol  My graphic driver is fine as is my browser and everything else. #### for the alphabet is happening to many.
