Pogo Daily Sudoku

I have been unable to play this game for the last few months.  
The game loads but when it goes to the sudoku screen it has a green hue and it will not allow me to click and activate anything, it's just a dead screen showing the sudoku grid and numbers underneath.  I have cleared my cookies multiple times, tried Chrome and Edge. I used to play this game a lot and don't understand what has changed.  It's frustrating that I cannot complete badges through no fault of my own. HELP (dlboz1)

    Hello! Sorry to hear about the green hue and dead/black screen while trying to access Pogo Daily Sudoku. That information is actually quite helpful and important. The green hue and unresponsive screen suggest a graphics rendering problem.

    Graphics driver updates can come with our System Updates - however, they may not be the most current. Graphics drivers are made by other companies (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel), and they can release updates at any time that Microsoft doesn't automatically include in real time. *As gamers, graphic drivers are crucial for gaming, and we should do this check monthly.

    Important Note: If you're still using Windows 10, Microsoft ended support in October 2025, which means security updates and driver support may be limited. It's best to get the latest graphics drivers updates directly from the manufacturer's website.

    Could an outdated graphics driver affect just one game? Yes!

    System checks like these are not just for Pogo - they are essential maintenance that should be done regularly for the overall security, performance, and stability of our devices. Think of these as a "health checkup" for our computers.

    Here are some steps to try to resolve the green hue and dead/black screen:

    Turn OFF Hardware Acceleration (Quick Test) This is the fastest way to test if your graphics driver is causing the black screen:

    • Open Microsoft Edge
    • Click the three dots (...) in the top right corner
    • Click Settings
    • Click System and performance (in the left sidebar)
    • Click System
    • Find "Use graphics acceleration when available"
    • Toggle it to OFF 
    • Close Edge completely (close all Edge windows)
    • Reopen Edge and try Pogo Daily Sudoku again

     

    If the game loads with hardware acceleration OFF: This confirms your graphics drivers need updating (next step).

    Update Your Graphics Drivers

    • Press Windows key + X
    • Click Device Manager
    • Double click on Display adapters
    • You'll see your graphics card listed (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel)
    • Right Click on the name of your graphics driver and a popup will appear with choices - Select - Update Driver
    • This will check for any updates to your graphics driver via Windows Update (like in the picture above)
    • Visting the manufacture's website is a little more detailed however an article was created here for us, with links to the manufactures > How to troubleshoot graphics issues on PC

     

    If you driver did need an update, remember to:

    • Restart your laptop
    • Go back to Edge Settings and turn hardware acceleration back ON
    • Try Pogo Daily Sudoku again

    I am having the same issue.  Lost chance for daily badge and looks like this weekly badge is out also
