Thanks for the reply! I've tried to buy the new fridge in both Firefox and Google Chrome. I tried to clear the cache and cookies, disabled popup blockers, and tried it in a private window as well. None of these helped - as the game continues to do the same thing.
So far this is only happening for the new fridge. I've never had the issue with any other items to buy, and the game is playing fine otherwise.
I just found out that it doesn't work for me to do chores either. I can click on the "chore" but it doesn't mark it as complete.

Apologies for the delay in responding, I was away for a while and just back this week. I wanted to check in with you. How did you get on with this since? Have you been able to buy the new fridge and complete the other chores since we last chatted?
