Here's how to get help!
On the Pogo website: Click on the Community Button and then Click on Blog
The page below will appear and to the right you will find two options for help.
The first option, Forums will take you to the Pogo Forums to post your question.
The second option, HELP will bring you here.
Pick a suggestion that best suits your situation, if you cannot find one. I suggest the option of "I need help getting Pogo to work"
When you click on this option another window will appear and you will see a CHAT WITH US option, click on this and follow the steps after that.
Also, our EA Community Manager has developed a detailed guide for help, you can bookmark it for future reference.

As you earn the stars within the Solitaire Home Story Game, try to utilize them to complete the assigned tasks as soon as possible to prevent any obstacles.
I do not believe EA/Pogo keeps track of Earned Items for each of their players to verify if they were lost, earned or used.
I have lost more stars since that time, as well. Do I understand correctly that there is nothing I can do to recover any of my stars? I have not used them. They are a vital part of the story, which I can't access without stars. They are the reward for playing the game. If my stars are going to be taken away and I have no recourse, that is very unfair of Pogo and of EA. I have played up to level 1822 without this happening, but I don't know when they will disappear, and I have to win seven more games to get them back, if I understand you correctly, and I can't always use the stars as soon as I get them - some tasks require 3 or 4. This makes it rather pointless to play. Can you reconsider doing something to help?

Here on EA Answers HQ Forums, you can find players trying to assist other players. Official delegates will always have an EA or Pogo in their names.
Our EA Community Manger for the Pogo Community also monitors situations and postings and may step in as well.

Thank you. This is my first time in the forums, and I am here because when trying to report the issue to Pogo I kept getting just a suggestion to go to the forums. I appreciate your trying to help, and this is not your fault. I don't think I will be renewing my membership though. It is far too difficult to get help. In playing Solitaire Home Story and I am not receiving credit for completing the game aka star. The pad on the bottom left corner of the screen alerts me by a blinking red dot that I have enough to move on to the next goal. When I tap on it it knocks me off and when I get back in my stars that I earned are gone but yet I moved up to the next level. I won like 4 games so I should have a total of 6 stars yet I only have 2. I even logged off and logged back on thinking if I reload it would correct it but no. I logged onto a differed laptop, same results. Please advise, thank you.
This issue has been reported by many players today.
