Solitaire Home Story tab not responding

Same issue here. Started months ago.

Device Type (PC. Laptop, Phone, Tablet): I've tried on laptop and android phone
OS version (Windows 10, Windows 11, or macOS): Windows 11
Browsers Tested (Microsoft Edge, Google. Firefox, Safari): Chrome and Firefox
Current Browser Version Number: Chrome Version 147.0.7727.138

 There's no way to advance, and the screen totally freezes up. I have to back out of the game and reload to continue. The "x" in the top corner of the pop out doesn't work. This only happens if I'm in the story tab. If I'm in the daily task, chores, etc tabs, it's fine and does not freeze.

I've cleared my cache. I've attempted multiple browsers and devices. I've tried incognito mode. Please help. This is super frustrating and takes all of the enjoyment out of the game. It's clear both from this forum and other google search results that this is a fairly common issues.
