In my capital city only- every time I try to upgrade a road, add a service, or even a new building my screen goes black and it freezes. Therefore I am unable to upgrade roads, services, or pretty much do anything in my capital city…

I am having a similar problem. Every time I go to upgrade any of my services, the entire screen freezes, and most of the screen goes pink or green. I have to restart the game to play at all. So far, I’ve had no luck talking to the in-game support.
Have you upgraded the game? Altho I think there will be one this week sometime maybe fingers xed

since 2.0 release, my capital city freeze (become black) when I stay in modification service mode. I already reinstall my city but no change. How to fix this problem because my grace period finish in 3 days. My city name is Fredodo.

Okay, for a while now I have had a BIG problem trying to expand the city, moving a Building or Tree -
The ground goes black, the music & sounds continue, but the game freezes . 😒
Nothing i do works. I deleted & downloaded SCB again, resumed my city, but it still freezes.
My trusty Apple Ipad is reasonably new, and there appears to be plenty of space for it.
Can anybody help me resolve this problem ? Please !

There are many discussions on this problem. It is specific to iOS users. EA cannot resolve the problem. It started from the 18 updates with pink pixels, and continued with 26. It has made the services 2 an additional nightmare.
