Sim city build it War rewards screen "Ok" button not working

After entering the war rewards screen on SIM city build it mobile the message reads :-

 "No War LootMayor, I am sorry to inform you that you have not scored any War Points and therefore you are not entitled to any war rewards. "Ok"

However the "ok" button is totally unresponsive, the game is not frozen and the animations still run but this leaves me trapped in this screen . 

I have cleared the cache, restarted the phone, reinstalled the game , checked for updates ...all of which has no effect......

I have yet to participate in wars and this is the first time entering this screen after unlocking the wars option. 

I'm using nothing phone 3 , android.
