The board, truck, and wheel selection in this game is tragic!Absolutely terrible! Can we get more actual brands than girl ,sci fi, and creature! Add DGK Add Santa Cruz Add thunder Add Spitfire Add Ricta Add Real Skateboard Brands! Or at least design a feature where people can take a photo of their real life Skateboard and upload it virtually into the game.
The game devs aren't really in charge of this; it comes down to licensing and contracts. With THPS 3+4 out at the same time, there could possibly be a contract for some brands, which may prevent them from appearing in a competing video game franchise. NikeSB, Vans, or Adidas are examples of large brands that appeared in both, as they have enough power to get out of that aspect of a contract. The same can't be said for all, unfortunately.
At this point, we just have to be patient. I only mean to say that your requests are totally valid, and if it doesn't happen, it isn't the devs ignoring you.
Virtual upload would be cool. I'll give u that. That would be tricky though since people can just upload any design within the shape of a skateboard. This would open up the possibility of people abusing the feature and uploading inappropriate images or designs to the game. They would need to regulate that somehow.
I'm sure they already know they need to add more brands and companies. Currently, brands are added as the game progresses. Royal and Independent trucks, as well as Real boards are available from the shop rotation. I believe Spitfire is coming or might already be in the rotation.
