ollie on nintendo controller

facing the same issue with a generic (Licensed PowerA) Nintendo Switch controller. Need to try noud284​ suggestion of uninstalling skate. from EA launcher and download it from steam. 
FYI i've been using the very same controller to fly the chopper in BF6 (steam) with no issues during mapping.

noud284​ thanks for the suggestion. It worked. I will then have to use the A->B switch option in Steam to make it fully work.

I've found the solution!
if you have skate. downloaded on the ea launcher, delete it all, (all of the files, not ur account) and download it on steam, go into big picture mode , then go into steam settings, controller, and make sure it all works (download the drivers from steam and stuff) and (calibrate?) the buttons so they are in the right spot, go into skate and it should work! i am experiencing this issue aswell. with this, most of the controls are like moved up. if i want to jump, i need to press the right trigger. i have an xbox controller but it is currently having stick drift issues. please fix this 🙏🙏🙏
