Why are the challenges back to giving only five rip chips per objective? When it was changed to 20 per, it made the smaller challenges actually worth it. Now there’s almost no point in doing any challenges since some boxes are over 400 rip chips 🤦♂️🤦♂️

Why the hell did you guys decrease the amount of Rip Chips earned from challenges?You already have four different currencies, of course the economy is broken. The problem isn’t just how much we earn, it’s what Rip Chips are for once you max out a zone. Why don’t we have the option to buy SV Bucks with Rip Chips? Something like 10,000 Rip Chips for 100 SV Bucks would make sense. And why did you remove the Rip Chip exchange for Tix? That was actually a really great idea!Also, Rip Chips are used for those boxes that increase your RIP Score, but once you’ve bought all the boxes, you can’t earn any more RIP Score. Just make it so that XP from challenges turns into RIP Score once you hit level 10 in a zone.Most importantly, don’t penalize new players. Any reduction or replacement of Rip Chip rewards should apply only to players who are already level 10 in a zone. Early progression needs to stay smooth so newer players can grind levels and unlock boxes at a fair pace.Please, do something with Rip Chips. Right now, even earning zero Rip Chips a day wouldn’t change anything for maxed players, they’ve become a useless currency after some time. That’s the root cause: not enough utility once you’re maxed. Either add meaningful sinks for Rip Chips or replace those redundant rewards with RIP Score, which doesn’t mess with the economy.And talk about those RIP Score issues as well: At the moment, the only real ways to gain RIP Score are by grinding boxes (but not title boxes) and buying merch in the in-game store. That setup doesn’t reflect a player’s dedication , it just shows who’s willing to spend money. Titles don’t even grant RIP Score, which makes no sense for a progression system.The RIP Score should represent the time and effort we put into the game and the challenges we complete, not our wallets. I love this game, but tying RIP Score to purchases makes it feel “pay-to-win,” which isn’t the vibe a skate game should have. Merch should stay cosmetic only and never provide points or advantages.Here’s how it could be improved:Max-Level Fairness (don’t punish new players): Once a player reaches level 10 in a zone, replace XP rewards with RIP Score in that zone. For those maxed players, slightly reduce or swap Rip Chip rewards on challenges. Keep full Rip Chip rewards for players who aren’t maxed so their early progression remains intact.Daily and Weekly Tasks: Award RIP Score for completing these. You could remove Rip Chip rewards here for maxed players and focus Rip Chips on progression for those still leveling.Challenges: Keep Rip Chips meaningful by adding sinks: bring back the Tix exchange, allow a conservative Rip Chip → SV Bucks exchange.Boxes & Titles: Keep RIP Score on regular boxes and add it to title boxes.Merch: Remove RIP Score rewards from premium merch. The whole point of Endgame is to grind out the cosmetics, and with the new update, you can’t even do that, so I really don't see the point of playing anymore. Nobody wants to grind an game every single day just to get one or two loot creates a day.

100% agree. I gained 35 rip score spending the chips from all challenges/daily tasks today and I’m just over this boring grind

5 rip chips per objective is so insanely low when some boxes cost 500. How do they expect us to progress at all without grinding every mission every day? I’m at 10 on every area and have 11k rip score and the only thing bringing me back was finishing my diy boxes and the event/skate pass.

Nobody wants to spend their time playing doing unrewarding challenges, 5 rip chips per challenge step? Cmon, no one’s going to keep playing if they’re completing all their challenges for the day just to unlock a board sticker. SWAP BACK TO 20! Even 15 could do

How so? You do your dailies and you have enough RC for 4-5 boxes per day. Why do you want more? You think you deserve it? For what? Being a leech?

No, they won't. I know I will still continue to log on every day. Not because I love the game, but because I have been psychologically manipulated into doing my dailies or suffer the deep regrets of FOMO. I am thankful that instead of being able to blaze through the missions, I now have to sacrifice triple the time to find and coordinate with a despicable e-buddy who can't even communicate and type two words for a whole two hours.
I absolutely LOVE(!) being forced into COOP, in a game that has no functional multiplayer at all, with glitched and bugged and BROKEN cooperative play. I LOVE losing precious hours of my worthless youth just sitting there staring at blank screens while I wait for party_member_xyz to hard-reboot his **bleep**ing game for the 7th time. I'm not mad at him, because if it wasn't for him, I'd be the one rebooting, or someone else. You need to acknowledge the terrible state of the product and build in a **bleep**ing reset switch combination like start-pause-left-triangle to reboot to title screen or something. I thought I was clever by quickly undoing my connection to take a shortcut to the title menu and then reconnect, but that too(!) causes unforseen issues. It's almost as if the game tries to be as uncooperative as possible by design.
And no compensation whatsoever for all the technical issues and lost hours. Just think about how many thousands of hours of human life time have been wiped from existence due to this game. No, instead everyone got knee-capped and forced into a style of play that absolutely no one asked for.

PS: This has got to be the worst **bleep**ing forum software I've ever used. Can it really not display more than 5 replies at a time? Do I really have to click "load more" over and over and over and over again until I have caught up with the end of the discussion? Whose terrible idea was this? It's absolutely laughable how this loses out against ancient tech from the 2000s. Absolutely laughable. Pure despair. Overpaid. Incompetence.

Already maxed out every box and every zone as well. Don’t really need tix, but a Rip Chips → San Van Bucks conversion would be really appreciated :)

Interesting take if I must say myself that probably the burnout from the playtest is really what might be shining through. These really are probably how at least half the player base is feeling as I would say you are one of the lucky ones being able to see that game before its current state. -note: backend developers are probably currently unaware of what happened in the first place with them early on.
Not sure from not having really been a part of the big wave of early access titles over these latest decades but the game is in a state where if you are looking for the game hunter type achievements, then I'm not sure here. It does seem like when it comes to scratching the surface of the game, you have absolutely beat the game in a sense.
From a progressions standpoint most people at this point probably couldn't even comprehend the amount of sheer reliable advice you could give from all the testing, but I didn't really give the playtest full reliability testing but did some minor improvability functions from a mechanical standpoint of input devices and such.
Sounds like you might put it on the shelf and see if maybe you can dust it off sometime or maybe watch some gameplay until you see that it meets what you have seen in the testing period. glhf

Apparently “it was a bug” that was never addressed and stuck around for almost a month, with two weekly updates in between the time it started and yesterday. They’re literally intentionally nerfing people and it’s scummy af. I’ve never seen so much floundering from a company. They genuinely flip-flop between wanting to serve the player base and wanting to serve their pockets. There’s gotta be a happy medium for both parties and this one ain’t it. Literally nobody believed for a second when Jeff announced that “it was a bug” because it only got announced after everyone noticed it, rather than actually being a subject of discussion in the patch notes. I haven’t and won’t touch the game until they make their mistakes right.

I just updated my game to 0.28.5, and HOLY SH*T; why did y'all change the Rip Chips for every challenge goal to only 5?! That's insane. Please, for the love of EVERY USER OUT THERE, change it back to a normal amount. This is highly unmotivational.

This 10000%!!! I’m so mad that I wasted my money on this season pass. Wake up this morning to see that challenges only reward 5 Rip Chips. That’s some straight-up nonsense right there. Market Mile only has like 3 replayable missions. I can’t even imagine how long it’s gonna take to level up now. I’ll put my money on it that they make Boxes no longer give 50xp within the next 2 weeks. Game is starting to show its true nature (absolute money grab). Going back to Skate 3 until they show me a finished product.

After the update there is no point in farming so much, challenges feels worthless. Will wait for an update, I don't want to waste that much time for almost nothing.

I mostly enjoy doing challenges and opening boxes.
If I can't even do that, then this game has absolutely zero value to me. This is FREE currency guys, you don't make the gun a slog and un-fun by absolutely destroying the free to play players. You get as large a base as possible and you try to make your paid items as attractive as possible.
If I feel like I can't even earn things for free, why the everloving fun would I continue to play more? It is literally not worth my time.
