The fact you can't customize your clothing (or even start out with a simple pair of denim) is ridiculous. I wear more hats backwards. Hoods up. And chunky headphones. Layering clothing is how I skate in the spring and fall. Choosing your Style is a huge part to walking into a skate shop and needs more focus. Not unlockables. I wouldn't mind micro transactions for Independent Trucks or Osiris shoes. (Hell I wear 2 separate colored Vans Half Cabs IRL) But I'm not paying more than $Free.99 for a game with no ability to choose my basic outfit from the start.
