Suggestions cosmetic and improvements
Hey Full Circle / EA team,
My name is Victor, I’m a long-time fan of the Skate series (Skate 2/3) and I bought the Founder’s Pack. I’ve been playing since early access, and overall I’m really enjoying it — the gameplay feels great and really captures the essence of the series 🙌.
That said, I have some ideas and feedback that could make skate. even stronger, especially around customization, pro riders, and events:
⭐ My suggestions
- Pro Rider Packs
For example, a “Vincent Milou Pack”: his pro model board, signature outfits (like the shirts he always wears), and a rider challenge featuring his favorite tricks. This creates a strong connection between the player and real skate culture. - 2000s Nostalgia / Throwback Packs
Packs inspired by Baker, Bryan Herman, and other iconic skaters of the 2000s, with clothes, boards, and cosmetics reflecting that street skate era. - Authentic Skate & Streetwear Brands
Brands like Adidas Skateboarding, Converse, Palace, Hélas, etc., would give the game real cultural credibility. Fans notice the details, and these brands also help create partnerships that benefit the game long-term. - Pro-Specific Challenges
Challenges built around a pro’s style or favorite tricks (rails, ledges, gaps, etc.) — this makes gameplay feel authentic and rewards skill.
⚠️ Bugs / points to improve
- Some missions take a long time to appear or trigger during gameplay.
- (You can add more personal details: platform, time, what you were doing, etc.)
🎯 Key point
We don’t want a “Fortnite with skateboards” — we want a game that represents true skate culture, connecting players with the pros, the brands, and the history of the sport. Packs like “La Faucheuse” feel generic; fans want authentic, meaningful content that resonates with the community.
I hope you consider these ideas — they could make skate. not just fun to play, but also a game that genuinely embodies skate culture. Thanks for all the work you’ve done so far; early access already feels amazing, and the potential is huge if the game stays true to its roots.
Best,
Victor
