As of late, I can't change the interface language in Battlefront 2

I'm writing regarding an issue with Star Wars Battlefront II that I originally obtained through the Epic Games Store when it was offered for free. Initially, I was based in Russia when I acquired the game. However, I have since relocated and changed the regions of all my gaming accounts, including both my Epic Games and EA accounts.
Until recently, I had the option to change the game's language, and I was playing comfortably in German. However, this option has now disappeared, and I can only play the game in Russian. This is particularly inconvenient as I'm now based in Austria, and my preferred language for the game is German.
I've already tried verifying the game files and checking for updates, but the language option is still missing. Additionally, I've confirmed that my Epic Games and EA account regions have been updated to reflect my new location.
What should I do?
