Can't Launch Through PC Game Pass?

Trying to play the game "for free" through PC Game Pass on my computer, and it installed the EA launcher/app thingy. I'm trying to then launch it through the Xbox app, or EA app, or my desktop shortcut, and all I get is "Get an app to open this 'com.epicgames.launcher' link" pop up, to browse the Microsoft Store, and it finds nothing.

Do I NEED the Epic launcher in ADDITION to having the EA launcher already installed to play it through Game Pass? 😭

From what I've seen, you start from EA app.

During the install process, it asked you to link you XBOX and EA accounts, correct? If so, make sure EA app and XBOX app are running as administrator.

Is the game installed on your default drive? If not, give that a go.
