Error Code: 918

Has anyone found a fix? I've seen and tried several things, such as:

  • logging out of all other platforms
  • closing the game out completely and trying again
  • restarting PC and wifi
  • uninstalling and reinstalling, and repairing the game
  • restarting the EA app and app recovery

EA chat support wasn't able to come up with a solution. I'm on PC, the game is from Epic Games. I made sure EA and Epic Games were properly linked.

    Has this been occurring over a series of days? Most of the solutions I've seen for 918 suggest its related to temporary backend issues.

    I only downloaded the game yesterday, and wasn't able to play at all yesterday and today. My friends were able to connect online without a problem.
