Error Code: 918

Question

Has anyone found a fix? I've seen and tried several things, such as:

logging out of all other platforms
closing the game out completely and trying again
restarting PC and wifi
uninstalling and reinstalling, and repairing the game
restarting the EA app and app recovery

EA chat support wasn't able to come up with a solution. I'm on PC, the game is from Epic Games. I made sure EA and Epic Games were properly linked.

I only downloaded the game yesterday, and wasn't able to play at all yesterday and today. My friends were able to connect online without a problem.

Has this been occurring over a series of days? Most of the solutions I've seen for 918 suggest its related to temporary backend issues.

I've been having this issue too. It's crazy because an EA support person told me it was a glitch and that they basically couldn't do anything about it.
