For anyone trying to use the email method to get your pre-order code, if email isn't an option make sure to change your region to the US. You can change your region by clicking the flag icon in the top right of the ea help page, then choose the US towards the top.

@EA_David thanks for the updates and the quick solution. Redeemed a code from a retailer this morning at 9am CEST. After the fix i could download the BETA from the playstation store!
- Anonymous8 years agoI contacted ‘EA help’ via their webpage re: Beta code issue with my Xbox one. Within a few minutes I was emailed a new code, which appears to have worked. Just waiting for the Beta to download.

I bought the code at GameStop in July, but when I try to redeem the code on Xbox One, I get the same error "Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page." When I try the workaround, I get "We couldn't find your code." Should I get a replacement code, or are they all not working?

well i did do the whole ea thing they said i should have access to download the beta i dont so im pretty miffed at the moment
also the replacment key doesnt work either

- b3anh3ad8 years agoNew RookieI pm'd David a picture, and he asked me to try the work around again, and it worked straight away. What I did was went to the ea support website, waited for the pop up to come up and click on it, then followed the workaround from that.
- Anonymous8 years agoHelp.ea.com webpage. Click ‘games’ in the top right hand corner menu. Select Star Wars battlefront II, and enter code issue.
I was then emailed a new code shortly after, which worked. - Anonymous8 years ago
The workaround never worked for me either. I contacted EA on the EA Help page and within minutes, I got a new working code.

Any update on Xbox One? Still getting redeem on a different web page error, emailed through the contact us section, had 5 different codes, none worked and now when I email it says "we've checked and you can play the beta", like I said earlier, none of my codes work.
- Anonymous8 years agoYeah I'm in the same situation, ea just replies with the "you should already have it" thing rather than giving me new codes and I can't find it on my games and apps
