Basalt Rift scavenger droid not dropping priorite shard

After returning to the Basalt Rift region, I killed the scavenger droid only for it to not drop the priorite shard. I rest at a meditation point, the droid respawns, but it does not drop the shard. 

Furthermore, the ‘missing treasure’ icon is not displayed on the map. This is the last shard needed for completion. 

Through looking at various Reddit threads, it seems that if you don’t kill this particular scavenger droid upon first encounter, the priorite shard disappears (along with the ‘missing treasure’ icon. Thus, you are unable to collect the shard on subsequent attempts. 

I am now unable to 100% complete the game and get the platinum. Please fix this bug.
