Very similar problem, lots of similar cases as well, I just keep liking and replaying to anyone with same issue to hopefully get some attention to this. Still nothing from EA though. Sorry for your trouble, but you're not alone!

I previously played Jedi Survivor (PC) during a promotional period through EA (2021 I believe, had since uninstalled the game and app). I recently purchased the game on Steam, and redownloaded/updated/logged in to EA app. When launching via steam, it starts the EA app and says "preparing game", I can see the game appear in Task Manager briefly, but quickly closes and the EA App shows “an error on our end caused the launch to fail." I have repaired EA app, uninstall+reinstall+delete prior cache data, made sure services are running on auto, made sure steam was updated, verified files, all I can think of on a hardware end, nothing has made a difference.
I believe my entitlement may be conflicting between the promotional version and the Steam purchase. Is it possible to refresh or repair the entitlement on my account?
