STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor – “An error on our end caused the launch to fail”

Hello,

I am having a persistent issue with launching Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on PC through the EA App. Every time I try to start the game, I receive the error message: “An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later.”

I have already gone through all available troubleshooting steps without success. This includes reinstalling the game multiple times, reinstalling the EA App, clearing the EA App cache, running the app as administrator, enabling and disabling the in-game overlay, restarting my PC multiple times, checking EA App logs (which showed no clear errors), and attempting to locate and repair EA AntiCheat (which I could not find in the installation folder). I have also followed all troubleshooting instructions previously provided by EA support.

The issue only affects Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, while all other games in the EA App work normally. The EA App itself also functions without any issues, and the problem persists even after a full reinstall of both the game and the launcher.

At this point, I have exhausted all troubleshooting options available to me. I would appreciate help with a deeper investigation, possibly related to account entitlement or backend issues, as I am unable to launch a game I have purchased.

Thank you.

  • I went through all the common fixes, but nothing worked until I rolled back to an older NVIDIA GeForce driver (581.80). That completely resolved the issue for me—might be worth trying if you're stuck. Snabba-Berit07

I also had this issue. Switching from NVIDIA Driver 582.28 to 581.810 Solved the problem.
