i know this is an old thread BUT i found a solution that has been working for me! if you got the game via steam, go into the game and click on the little controller icon on the right between the gear icon and the information icon. when the controller settings open, click enable controller and close it then launch the game! the audio should be working now! :) you don’t have to download anything extra to get it working and you shouldn’t need to do this every time you want to play, just the one time!!
Yes, this works, thank you! Unfortunately you have to turn on DualSenseX each time you start the game again.
@EA WTH? Please fix this!
Ok I may have found a workaround for this...
I followed a suggestion from a steam forum entry (this one), and installed DualSenseX.
Install DualsenseX, launch it, go to controller settings and enable controller audio support.
With DualSenseX still open, launch Jedi Survivor. The sound should be played correctly now.
You now can & should close DualSenseX, as it interferes with the haptic feedback stuff etc. The sound will still work after closing it. 🙂
This is getting ridiculous. I’m having the exact same problem…
this exact thing is happening to me, aany fixes yet
Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:Epic-PC
Summarize your bug Audio stops when using dualsense 3.5 headphone.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Connect dualsense via usb and then connect 3.5mm headphone. Start up Jedi survivor past startup screen all audio via dualsense controller headphone stops.
What happens when the bug occurs? No audio via dualsense headset.
What do you expect to see? Audio ,haptics, sound based vibration & haptic trigger should work correctly.
I am on windows 11& use dualsense connected via usb with headphone plugged in.
When I launch game audio is played on startup splash screen but once start menu appears all audio via headphone stops.
Have rebooted, reinstalled the game but issue persists.
Other games work fine so issue is only with this specific game.I had to set "Spatial sound" for my stereo speakers to "Windows Sonic for Headphones" and now voices of the characters are hearable.
"Control Panel" - "Sound" - select "Playback" tab - select the sound device "Properties" - "Spatial sound"
