The "You've got a friend" trophy is a game completion bug
Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:PlayStation 5
Summarize your bug The you've got a friend trophy is a game completion bug. Simply put, ALL trophies should be obtainable post main story completion. In fact, many of the (recurring) enemy placements after the main story is complete are designed so that a player can obtain the necessary trophies on the way to 100% game complete. For example, after the main story is complete, if there were (say) no recurring enemies in the array channel area of the mining canon, then the 'This Is Canon' trophy could not be obtained. Similar examples exist elsewhere. But with the 'You've got a friend' trophy, there is no way to know that you CANNOT get the trophy post main story short of reading spoiler-laced reviews. Even if you read the trophy details, you would assume the trophy would be obtainable post main story because you would have assumed the trophy's design would be similar to the other trophies. You would have assumed your companions would be available. Of course the vast majority of players don't even look at trophies (or getting 100% game completion) until after the main story. I can't believe that game development wasn't well aware of this fact, so in my mind, this is an oversight - a bug. One final remark: I will optimistically assume this was an oversight (a bug) on game development's part - not some cheap trick to try to get me (the player) to do a second run through of the game. That would leave a 'bad taste' in many mouths.
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I believe my explanation is self explanatory.
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot complete the game. I cannot get 100% completion and I cannot get the platinum jedi survivor trophy.
What do you expect to see? A way to still obtain this trophy after the main story is complete. One suggestion would be to double the number of assists the remaining companion must provide to obtain the trophy.
