ACCOUNT HACKED - HACKER ADDED SWTOR SECURITY KEY - EA CANT OVERIDE

Question

So a hacker got into my SWTOR account, added a security key and used that security feature to override my EA account security features. I have "Secured" my EA account through EA support but the SECURITY KEY on SWTOR cant be accessed or overridden... in other words they can just use the SWTOR security key to gain access to "lost" details and do it all again.

EA kept pointing me here and here keeps pointing me to them... This is a serious SECURITY CONCERN, the only way i can break the circle is to PAY for subscription and get premium SWTOR support...

Isn't that entrapment and fraud!?

Before you state click on"Lost/reset security key" it no longer exists and points back to EA support. EA security keys cant access SWTOR.

For EA account stuff depending on country it may be able to be handled via online chat or possibly even a call back feature - see this link&nbsp; for the EA account itself best to select origin as the game.

Swtor unfortunately for account issues is by phone.

I use voip myself for my phone, even skype costs me about 3 cents a minute so costs me $1.80 for an hour call to the US from Australia.

The US number is a free call within the US so using a contact setup in skype with that number may be free if you set to the country to the US itself, as an example see this link

Just to clarify , EA support are not able to assist with swtor accounts hence why they cant remove the key.

As&nbsp;@Ahrngrim&nbsp;has mentioned you need to talk to swtor support directly they will be able to help.

Just to be certain I would be changing the password on the email account , as all security on an account hinges on the email account being secure, if they are able to access your email address say through web mail then they can add a security key to your account and change things.

The first step of adding a security key to an account is that an email is sent to the registered email address on the account to commence the process per this guide link&nbsp;the key can not be added without this email.

I did that immediately after and do it monthly with complicated passwords.

It's all fine saying call a premium rate telephone number when you are disabled and jobless. There is a reason i am not subscribed in the first place.

Probably more convenient to just terminate the EA account lose a grand's worth of games i no longer play.
