an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases

Hello,

Can you please assist with the following issue:
There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support (https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support) for further assistance.

I returned to the game after a long break, but at the moment I cannot subscribe or purchase any stuff - I even tried to purchase sub via Steam, was charged, but it does not show ingame.

My account/username is nadpiotr

    Support said gametime has been added , so that is good to hear 

    if not done so yet, you need to cancel any swtor subscription in your steam account, it can be repurchased when this gametime ends

    I remember having this issue a few months ago, I think the last time I was subbed. Hoping this doesn't happen every time I want to give EA money haha.

  • @proxos666 hi i'm having the same issue, could you possibly check? i've tried logging in to my EA account with the same mail and also tried resetting password, that so far hasn't helped
  • A russian email? what? I"m aussie, what number do we call? I called the one listed for Australia, it connected me to the UK and just said no agents were available and told me to come back to this website. So some tussian within what 2-3 months, changed my original email without needed authentication from me? Odd. I submitted a ticket, hopefully they get back to me soon. Thanks for your help.

  • @proxos666 i have the same issue as well, but i use swtor launcher to play (not steam). I mean i can't even buy subscriptions from the account page and also clicking "Redeem a code" gives the same error (There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved)
    Can you also check the status off my account?

    Yes, I have this issue and tried to follow instructions, but EA support can't be used for tickets.

    I'm not good with computers, so I have trouble finding a solution to this.

    Got an old account from the very beginning and both the old sec key tool is battery failed (got that sorted via my phone app)

    Tried to fix this account issue, but I don't really know why it occurs. It feels like EA forces me to sync all my different old games into one account. Is it a must all games need to use same email/username now?
