I have played this game on and off since 2012, and have recently decided to give it another play. However, I used to use the old SWTOR Authenticator app which does not work now. And there seems to be no way to remove the authenticator without calling EA, which doesn't really work for me in Australia.
I feel I shouldn't be forced to make an expensive phone call to another country just to play a game that I have had since 2012.
Any idea on what I can do?
If you are unable to remove the security key yourself as seen in this guide then calling is the only way
I would check your mobile plan as most Australian mobile plans these days include free calls to the US and UK , just be sure to call during the hours the lines are open.
eg my Tangerine telecom $30 per month mobile plan includes calls to the top 15 countries
Top 15 countries includes: Bangladesh, Canada, China, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, UK & USA
