I can't but a subscription. I get an error that says to try again later. SWTOR username orinshaknaw. I orginally subscribed back in 2014. I had canceled my subscription back in July due to network issues that prevented me from playing. I have the network issues fix but now I cannot subscribe again.

You will not be able to purchase on swtor or origin due to https://help.ea.com/nz/help/faq/ea-games-unavailable-in-some-countries-or-regions/ changing country in settings doesn't change the ability to purchase.
You could link your Swtor account with steam per https://help.ea.com/en-au/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-on-steam and purchase on steam
To fix the account You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account uses the same email as on your swtor account
use the following link (insert the swtor email) to reset the password then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared
I do not have a linked EA account. My EA account and SWTOR account use the same email.
using the same email does not create an account linkage as per https://help.ea.com/en-nz/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-account-linked
If you follow the directions i have provided to reset the password on the linked EA account you will be able to purchase again
unless you have recently changed the email on your swtor account in which case it needs to the original email used to reset the password
I have followed your instructions. I followed those instructions before I even posted here.
Here is the steps I had done previously
1. Attempted to reset the password of the linked EA account - never received the reset email, checked spam folder also
2. Changed the email in SWTOR to match the EA account that I login to when playing other EA games on my XBox.
3. Attempted to change the password on the EA account that now matched SWTOR.
4. Changed the email in SWTOR back to original
5. Attempted to reset the password on the EA account for the email in SWTOR - same result as step one - never received the reset email
you are best then to call swtor support to update the email , or you can open a case at help.ea.com for an "origin account" and tell them you cant reset the password due to not getting the email
I get an error trying to link my Amex card to my EA account, or trying to using it to purchase CC on swtor.com
my swtor account is linked to steam. and i just downloaded and installed Origin
steam removed amex as a paying method which made me go try the website for the first time - i cant use other methods steam presents.
for now i am still subscribed.
what should i do ?
