Anyone else having problems with playing after game update 7.4.1?
I can hit play and then it goes to the load screen (splash screen) but it freezes and then it says the game is failing to respond. Anyone know how to fix this? Super disappointed that this is happening, spent hours so far trying to fix it.
Hi, the same thing is happening to me, after updating SWTOR via Steam, I can log in, the game opens. I see the loading image and environmental sounds but not the music and I do not get to the loading screen where my characters are, I tried to use the method of deleting client_settings but continues to fail.
Any other tips? Nothing is working at all and i tried all those suggested steps
There are a number of people with this issue at present, cause is unknown at this point

are you using an intel video card ?

your Video driver is from july 2023 , so newer one is at https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/785597/intel-arc-iris-xe-graphics-windows.html
also can see windows power options are set to balanced, when gaming you will benefit by changing to high performance
Have forwarded your dxdiag to swtor support, it does point to an issue with intel video cards
Man I'm having a rough go of it.
Tried both of those and it's still not working.
It keeps doing the same thing. I log in, press play, then its either a black screen or the splash/load screen and then it says its not responding shortly after then it closes out.
Really starting to get tired of this. It happens EVERY time they do a major update. I've tried EVERY suggestion and nothing. This is now day 2. If this doesn't get fixed soon I'll be cancelling my subscription. I love the game but the technical problems are starting to outweigh my enjoyment.
I agree with you, i've tried every suggestion about 3 times over and still nothing is working.
