I switched on the custom outfit option to show dark side corruption, and it also turned on the hide helmet option, which I don't own. Turning off the visible corruption didn't fix the helmet being hidden. I can't turn it back off (seeing as I don't own the ability to toggle that button), and refuse to spend money to fix a bug in a seven year old game. Has anybody else managed to actually fix this?
What is your swtor username in case not linked to the EA account, I will see if the account log can be looked at closer to see the background circumstances of it activating on your account..
Pretty sure this bug has been going on for a while and it only happens when you try making changes to your current outfit while playing a Trooper or Bounty Hunter character. Happened to me on every single character I made of those classes and now I know it's not specific to anyone's account, but to everyone who can't control the "Hide Head" option freely.
Maybe someone wants to make a formal report on this, since us F2P's and Preferreds can't really say anything?
EA QV TeamThis indeed should be just a bug and shouldn't have anything to do with specific accounts. Sadly there's not much we can do to override the toggle, so it'll potentially need to be addressed in a future patch at some point.
