What data are you basing this off ? 

I am based on long long time observations and upon countless starparse results. After 3.0 was in place and I got my gear decent, I was barely doing dps at the lvl that others were doing before the update... and the difference is huge. If you go sholder by sholder with the same class m8 at the same time agains identical foes and he finishes first every time...when a same class player with less gear deals more damage then you over and over and I see the numbers in raid parse... Most relevant I tested (more than once) by doing side-by-side parse on same dummy at almost same gear with a friend, just spamming the simplest of hits both and got that 20% difference... I have been asking around every1 I've meet how much do they parse and what is their apm... first I imagined that may be  some kind of country rating involved and I got placed like into a 3-th world country like, not as a real EU citizen. I just wonder how many more clients may be in the same situation, but did not noticed....

What relevance does all this have on FTP and Preferred though , I know they get less XP but doing less damage ?

If you can produce clear stats with identical gear and level and boosts etc this will help to get this looked at.

     Here are fresh images showing one of my chars stats and parse results >

   I can barely deal 5.3 k with this char that is my best dps, while others are in the 6 - 6.3k range. My sentinel char only touches 5k, briefly. Shadow passes a bit over 4.7 at full 220 gear. The apm reveal the fact that the program diminishes the return, for is consistent all the time as lower that what others deal..even if I just spam one single strike I get below amp. I have tried full alacrity augments build and the apm got where should have been, but the overall dropped. I tried full crit build, all 14 augments + 2 cristals and the result was also lower than what I have now. I tried all kind and did parse after each gear change to see what the effect was, nothing made no difference, I am always way way behind all other players. My commando is also dps low and my agent char is most pathetic, is totally worthless.  

   By the chart numbers that shows at the end of a wz my chars seem to be competitive thow, for I can not afford to run wz with starparse on for details and confirmation, because  the lag that would anyway alter the results, but in fact this is no wonder, for the pvp part of the game is a different game and there I probably register correct.

   I emphasize that I am not trolling. I realize more than too well that this report is similar to an ax plunged direct into the game's vain, but is not my intention at all to crumble the game so the competition can raise. Other  than one friend I restrained myself to tell any1  about my torment, because I do not want to offer ppl one more reason to leave the game, for I play almost every day and is in my interest to have more ppl on the server, not less, but I got really upset and resorted to this last attempt. So pls do not throw this back at me to point fingers that I have that or have not done that or missed that, for I am not guilty here of nothing. The ecart is just too great. 20% less is huge. I just can not keep up with the others and nothing on my side is to blame. I consider myself the injured party in this matter, so pls do not try to turn all this against me somehow, even if this may be in fact your job!

I have never heard of such a bug, doing less damage than others is usually caused by bad players, so it is understandable that he questioned your statement.

This may be a bug, but it has nothing to do with being a sub or not, a friend of mine was raiding as a preferred player for several months and did more DPS than many of the others.

While there is a bug that has the current endgame gear require an artifact authorisation, if this was the case here you would not have the full stats of that gear.

There is no apm or dps reduction for being f2p or preferred, and I have seen players that I know do amazing dps when subbed, still do the exact same numbers when they go preferred, there is no difference there.

In this case, it is usually a player issue, and not a game issue. I myself do not that great a dps, part of it may be my systam and connection, but part of it is probably me. That's why you play around and find what works best for you, and one thing I learned from the player I mentioned above, is you have to always be clicking something, don't wait for that global cooldown to finish before you are activating your next ability, because there is always a little bit of lag in the best setup. The fact that you were able to submit a ticket shows that you are not seen as preferred by the system, as only subscribers can submit in game tickets.

And seriosly, unless their display name starts with EA_, anyone responding in these forums is a volunteer player, not staff. There is no need to be nasty to them. This is a forum for players to help other players, anything official is through phone, email, voip, or in game ticket, not the forums.

- there is no DPs difference between different sub categories

- if you want to test DPs, you must do so at identical gear, identical tech tree, identical rotation and very important to have very similar FPSs and ping/lag

- it may be a weird-unknown type of matter - in my case I never managed to do enough DPs with one class even with the best possible gear - cause: unknown

Same for me, BorgOvermind. No matter how hard I work my rotation, how finetuned my gear is, on most dps classes I just seriously underperform. Which is why I find the one I do the best at, and run dps on that one, and tank or heal on alts. There is usually one class that really clicks for you as a person, and you should stick with that one, instead of trying to force better performance on one that just won't work right for you. (or trying to blame it on outside factors, especially ones that don't exist).
