I cannot login - Steam

Hello, I have confirmed that my display name and account name is WalterBacons, and that my EA account is linked to my Steam account. The EA account I am using, and the SWTOR account I am trying to log in to are fairly old, easily more than 4 years old. This account has been merged at least once with another EA account, and I vaguely remember something happening to my SWTOR account but not caring at the time.

Now I cannot log in to the SWTOR account whatsoever, despite resetting the password twice through the SWTOR website itself and the EA website once after the two attempts prior. I can log into the EA website just fine with the new password, I cannot log in to the SWTOR website or game at all. I am told there is an error with my account and I am to check my email but there is no email. I know my display name/account name is still active as I cannot make a new account using it, and the emails that are sent arrive properly in my linked email account.

What can I do so that I can log into swtor, I don't care if everything is wiped (if that's the case), I'd just like to keep the username I'm known by and use it since it's linked to my steam account and that's where I'd be playing from.

It appears you had asked for the linked EA account to be deleted , that breaks the swtor account unfortunately

you will need to make a new swtor account moving forward

Have flagged to confirm the below , response will be in about 8 hrs when support are online for the day

When you merge or close the linked EA account it likely broke the swtor account permanently , in these cases the account is locked

Deleting your EA Account will permanently break your Pogo or SW:TOR account.
We can't restore Pogo or SW:TOR accounts when this happens, so we recommend you keep your account active or temporarily deactivate it.

Well the issue is it worked just fine at one point, and I'm not sure if it was before or after the merge. I also don't know if the SWTOR account was on the account merged into this one, or this account itself. So I'll just need to wait for support to respond and potentially unlock my account?
I don't particularly want to close my account, I have a lot of games attached to it.

merging effectively deletes one account , anyways will have a response back in about 8 hrs

Does that mean I cannot use my username? I tried making an account using the walterbacons name and it gave me an error saying the account already existed.

The account is locked as broken its not deleted

maybe use walter-bacons or walter_bacons for example, the only place this displayname will turn up is if you post on the swtor forums

What about it still being attached to my steam account, are my purchases going to be affected if I make a new account but it's not attached to my steam account?

I appreciate your help, is there any way to detach the two old emails from these SWTOR accounts that "don't exist"? I got to make a new account and they're still tagged to those emails and I don't want to have to make a whole new email just to play the game. Also the EA account used here IS attached to my steam account, and one of those emails, won't that affect my purchases even though support said nothing is linked to my steam account?
