Monitor now says Unsupported
My PC got a virus when I started up the game. How do I fix so I can play the game?
When it is like that what occurs if you press ALT + Enter keys together ?

Can you provide more details like what antivrirus you use, what file it said this was and the name of the virus, this may just be a false positive but want to confirm
The screen said unsupported mode. I couldn't see my browser or desktop at all.

Nope, I pressed ALT TAB and ALT F4 and nothing. Even tried CTL ALT DELETE and nothing. I did install it this time and clicked play and I had to turn my PC off. No viruses this time, but I need to fix this
What do you mean no viruses this time , what indicator are you determining its a virus , is this a message from an antivirus program ?
what did you install and if not running the game are you able to get into windows on a fresh computer restart ?
The last time that I installed and played it, it did the same thing, but when I tried to log back on the PC, it still said unsupported mode.

From what you are saying I know what is occurring but fixing it is not as simple as knowing
Initially I would recommend booting up in safe mode (F8 on startup) and going into device manager and uninstalling both the monitor listed and the video driver for the video card and reboot back to normal and see if that brings normal windows back up.
There is another way to sort this but it will require a windows DVD do you have this ? if it comes to it ?

You can try a restore to just before this occurred , if that fails see here about an inplace repair it will keep all your current programs etc intact.
Wait what if I try to get it to play in windowed mode?
