Update for today is that we have a fix! We're working on automating this for all Mac players, but for now, you can get your client working again by deleting the file:
- /Users/<your username>/Library/Application Support/com.broadsword.swtor/Star Wars - The Old Republic/swtor-precompiled/Libraries/Wine/user.reg
- Don't forget to replace <your username> with the username on your device.
After deleting, you will need to start up your client. To find the file, you can do one of the following:
- Use Shift+Command+Period to show hidden files/directories to access the user's Library directory
- Use Shift+Command+G to get a popup box to manually type in the directory path
To reiterate, we are working to get this process automated so we are continuing our investigation. I’ll update this thread as I get more info. We appreciate your patience as we navigate through the Mac Launcher Open Beta.
