Re: Black outlines
This sounds like something I came across before with a particular AMD driver version a few years back, maybe the issue has resurfaced , the same solution may work , see this link

I have visited this page before but still it did not work, it also does this on other games any other solutions?
Can you provide a dxdiag per this link
Can you try this driver at this link what is odd is the www.amd.com drivers do not list the R9 M470X as a supported card
I'll try this if it doesn't work I'll let ya know after school today thanks for your help so far
Was I suppose to install or extract because it says i have it installed already so extract or?
You may need to uninstall the current driver first as it is the latest generic amd driver
the dell page has this for steps
Download
1. Click Download File to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
Installation
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file.
2. Read over the release information presented in the dialog window.
3. Download and install any prerequisites identified in the dialog window before proceeding.
4. Click the Install button.
5. Follow the remaining prompts to perform the update.
It won't let me uninstall it it says driver not found
Not sure I can help remotely to see what is going on
Just to confirm you did try going into the game profile listed in the CCC and turned on AA in the game profile there and turned AA off in the game preferences ?
Already tried it before
Also I don't have CCC I have Amd radeon https://gyazo.com/7cc503c4d6b6330556f0ae8406f57379
CCC is the AMD RADEON Catalyst Control Centre - Link
That looks like the right sort of place in your picture to adjust game profiles
Does this driver want to install on that system ? - Link
There is like 3 of them which one i downloaded one of them
downloaded that one didnt work ;-;
You can try the web installer if you do not want to download the full file
I figured drivers will be an issue for this system, question if you go in game and turn off Anti Aliasing does the black outlines disappear ?
Nope they still stay
Try turning off Ambient Occlusion - Link
how do i turn it off
Not 100% sure for AMD as I use Nvidia , but if you install radeon pro they have a screen showing the ambient occlusion settings that can be unticked per game , see this link
Back in your radeon settings like the screenshot link you gave did you find where to edit settings for swtor ? unsure if it is there as well as in radeon pro
It may be called SSAO as well if you see that anywhere
One of my games was in the list, swtor wasn't so what should i do?
See if the guide at this link to create a profile helps,
likely best to create a profile using swtor.exe at C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic\swtor\retailclient
