Can you attach a screenshot of the error?
I'm having the same problem. Trying to reset the password just results in the "An error has occurred" message every time.

Sounds like their system may be down. If you use the Forgot Display Name do you get the same error?
@EA_Kat or @EA_Kipling are you aware of any issues?

I can not see any reports about system issues.
Please give it another try @Datangia and @RoverKelevra.
Also make sure the Password is at least 6 characters long, has one capital case and a number in it.
If there are still issues, please contact our agents via phone so they can look into it further.

I follow the guidelines required for the password requirement
but it always comes as "An error occurred" for every new password I tried
spent probably 2 possible three hours trying this,
went through the FAQ page, community support page, reading everything I could find
I ended up decided to ring technical support at 0230 am (Adelaide, Australia - talk about late night runs)
to have my password reset and everything
Thanks for everyone's input, it was a headache and a half
