dxdiag says swtor is crashing via P4: d3d9.dll which is the nvidia driver
why is the question now, ensure no game overlays are trying to load for now too
paste the below (which is following the directions in the link i provided) that is what you should try first not what you pasted
AntiAliasingLevel = 4
AtlasQuality = 0
Buckets = 5
D3DFullScreen = falseFullscreen = false
RefreshRate = 60
DYDDrawDistancePreset = 2
EnableSSAO = true
GraphicsDeviceId = 6918

SwtorRegKey = SOFTWARE\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic I have steam overlay disabled in the settings. I pasted what you put into the settings.ini and still the same result.
My video drivers are up to date as well if that is any help.

i would use https://www.wagnardsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3576 to remove all trace of the current video driver and then do a clean install and see if it persists

it also cant hurt to update your windows 10 install your 2 versions behind at moment using 2004 (19041) latest is 21H1 (19043)
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-health/release-information
also install all options updates especially for C++ and .NET
Alright, i did the windows update, restarted, tried the game and had no change.
then I followed the guide for that DDU and did a clean install of my video drivers and it still does the exact same thing.

very odd dll to crash with , try setting as a clean boot https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows-da2f9573-6eec-00ad-2f8a-a97a1807f3dd
have you tried booting with one monitor attached or attaching a different monitor if you have one ? (there is a reason to check this)
i tried unplugging one of my monitors and launching the game like that, but did not do a reboot with only one plugged in. i'll try that now.
i tried doing a reboot with only one monitor plugged in, same result.
followed the steps to do a clean boot and also still crashing the same.
i do not have a different monitor to try.

Delete the current client_setting file and then launch
Done, with the same result. still opening to black screen and crashing right back to desktop.

you dont have reshade installed ?
no i do not
- proxos6664 years agoHero+
d3d9.dll is really directx , so i guess cant hurt to install https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=8109
alright, done and no change.
also, i really appreciate you troubleshooting this with me.

can you attach a new dxdiag after the windows updates etc
here you go
- proxos6664 years agoHero+
The crash reports have changed and Asus now appears too , maybe worth uninstalling the AI suite as a test ( think that is part of it )
KeyBotII.exeyou can press the windows key and type reliability and then open the reliability history , that can show you what is occurring each day
so uninstall AI Suite 3? and whatever that keybot is?
- proxos6664 years agoHero+
cant hurt , have a look at the reliability history see if there is anything further mentioned
the only things in the reliability history is SWTOR many times, the keybot a bunch of times, and Origin once. i will uninstall the keybot and ai suite and try the game again.
still no change

disable the xbox overlay if not already too https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-and-remove-game-bar-windows-10-creators-update
- proxos6664 years agoHero+
done, no change still.
