Security Code Cannot Verify (Help)

I've been trying to add a security code to my account for over an hour now. 

the one time code emailed to me comes through fine, I use google authenticator (which worked for swtor before) but now whenever I get to the final step it tells me 'code cannot be verified' and boots me back to step one. 

any help would be greatly appreciated I was going to resub for may but if I cant secure my account I wont.
