I just got off the phone with SWTOR customer support and they were very helpful! Basically, if you are using a hotmail account, you will likely experience issues receiving your one-time password and should call the support line:  EA Player Help Services - Contact Us

They were able to promptly assist me and now I can play. I hope this helps you!

And what was the solution with the hotmail issue?

Been trying for 2 hours now and even changed my email adress without any luck.

I haven't been able to receive my one time password email since yesterday on Gmail

Same, I've been waiting for 45 minutes and nothing. I then went to the EA player help that was recommended and it was useless, couldn't tell me a thing.

Same here, thought I would reload the game again thinking it could be my computer, still no one time password. Been waiting for an email for 2 hours, nothing. I am a returning player, just got back into it. Not using hotmail, so its not my email.
