Like the title says, I am currently unable to launch the Knights of the Fallen Empire story mission from my mission log. I click play, then launch, I get a loading screen, and I then appear on the republic fleet. I am a level 61 Jedi Guardian on the Ebon Hawk server.
Go to Zakuul, reset the quest, then go back to the ship and use "play" again. It should work.
I had this issue with chapter 7, had Ops right as I was finishing 6 and moving into 7, and when I tried to pick it up again, it wouldn't work.
It doesn't seem to work if your mission tracker says anything other than press play to launch or something similar, if there is a mission step there and the play button, you will have to reset. The reset should work from anywhere, if you have the option to, once last night it was greyed out, so I logged off that toon, made my start at 60 toon (and finally got the Mandalore statue from his cantina crates, yay ^_^), and went back, was able to reset and start the chapter. Resetting the mission while doing KOTFE story does not just reset the mission you were on in the story, though, it resets the chapter, so you have to play the chapter through again.
