2k crystals a week earlier wouldnt make a significant difference in your progression for those game modes

TW + GAC - everyone was affected the same so it doesn’t matter if you had 2k earlier since nobody else also had that same amount of crystals earlier and you all are progressing the same as before

TB - 2k crystals early won’t net you enough stars to cross a new reward threshold

Never let it be said CG didn't do the very least they could do... Expect nothing, you won't be disappointed.

Nobody should be shocked at anything that's been going on after crystals were moved to GAC. Take note of everything that is either directly shorting you crystals or contributing to it that has nothing to do with normal gameplay.

On a separate note, how can you not love 3 out of 4 Starkiller req's going into cantina and causing a huge and extended signal data shortage if you farm them all. It's either you take that huge hit or hemorrhage a ton of crystals buying signal data/shards.

Except loads of players are relying on a timely crystal income to unlock a 7* Executor. They have been budgeting for this event which only comes around one day per month. It's not in the journey guide. This is a big deal.

That's 24,000 crystals in refreshes in a window of 24 hours. Or 14,000 for 6*. Miss your deadline due to, I dunno, CG withholding your crystals or something, and you're screwed for a month.

I'd say having an Executor that can compete makes a pretty significant difference in progression.

So you are talking about 24,000 crystals which is a very long way from what has been missed. Equating missing out on a GAC payout and missing out ion a 7* Executor is quite a leap.

Come on now - it is perfectly feasible that someone has a 6* Exec and had budgeted for the required refreshes but will not be 2-3000 crystals short.

OP mentioned 24,000 crystals.

I know they did - but their point is that they could have budgeted to have that many crystals but fall short because of end of GAC delays.

Like I said, I think drawing an equivalence of a delayed GAC payout and missing out on a 7* Executor seems a bit over the top and hyperbolic to me.

You disagree and that's perfectly OK.

Just let the Executor event run for 1 week this month and everyone will whine less (well, hopefully).

Not entirely true. It is true for f2p, they were all in the same boat. People who spend money meanwhile could/did buy what they were missing so that's what OP meant about f2p were hurt more because they were the ones who maybe couldn't progress if they were counting on the income (for example Executor)and were therefor left more behind than they would have been.
