Hey CG,Given that the event reset, you were able to get an additional free run (even if you're already 7⭐️) - the 999 refresh count also reset, meaning you didn't need to buy the 1,299 packs... so for anyone like myself who 7⭐️ last night, we spent 2.5K crystals more than anyone else who went 6⭐️ yesterday, 7⭐️ today...I'd like to think we're going to get those crystals refunded... How should I go about requesting that, do I need to open a ticket?Thanks

Why should they refund you for you not paying attention to cooldown times? Don't get me wrong, Leviathan is apparently a hot mess which doesn't seem to be delivering on investment. But this doesn't seem like their fault...

Yeah, everyone was assuming that this would follow the same model of previous capital ship releases. I mean that's our fault for assuming - but why would we be looking for it to be different? CG didn't mention this anywhere - it was obviously a mistake because otherwise, what's even the point of the 1250 packs? I'm not MAD that I ended up spending more than people hitting 7* today, but I would certainly be ok with being refunded the difference. Feels like that would be the right thing to do. If they don't, it's whatever - I was expecting to spend the money/crystals - but it would be a good faith gesture and those are always appreciated. If all they did was fix the bugs - I'd walk away happy. How happy I am is directly proportional to how long it takes them to fix those bugs and how many of them they actually fix. The list seems to be growing as more people experiment with it and find more issues.

Someone posted about this yesterday on the forums, that it would refresh today for an extra attempt. I thought everyone knew this yesterday

I don't get why people didn't see that the bonus tier refresh ended before the event ended and draw their own conclusion as to whether there was a refresh. This really doesn't seem like something CG should make good on. People assumed, and you know what they say about when people assume.

After you did your last refresh yesterday there is a countdown to when it refreshes and lets you attack again.

On the battle button after you exhausted all of your refreshes, instead of showing the 999 crystal cost there was a cool down timer showing when it would refresh. Many didn't think to look at it and realize that it would refresh before the event ended - For me, I just headed straight to the store and bought the remaining packs, not even thinking that a refresh was a possibility.

One only ones that would have a case to be upset are those with 3pm-5pm est reset times. (Event starts and ends at 3pm est)... those with a 3pm daily reset lose out on the free reset completely... those who's reset is a few hrs after the event started had a small window to take advantage of the reset, with no advanced knowledge of this time restriction.

Anyone overspending to get the event done in the frist few hr did so by choice.

I assumed, wrongly, that the bonus mission would be gone when that timer got to zero. I could have gone up a level in the menu, I think, to see that the event was running longer. But the thought didn't even occur to me because that's not how it worked in the past.

The issue is not that CG is at fault or that we deserve some compensation for a grave injustice. It'd just be a nice gesture of good will for the misunderstanding. Based on my guild, many of us didn't notice the change.

Not if you brought the packs first as I did. I did the 1250 packs to get it to 5* faster to avoid any repeat of the previous event struggles at 4*. I'm ok with that decision, but after doing the 19 999 refreshes the button was gone and there was no countdown of any type in game indicating the event would refresh.

You could have autoed the bonus tier.

Okay... but I didn't push the button again once my refreshes were exhausted... so I definitely never saw that.

As far as I can tell, the only way to have knows was to see a forum/discord message or be paying attention to the point where you notice 2 timers on different screens are out of sync

Again, I am not outraged or demanding compensation. But those acting like the change was obvious are being disingenuous, imo. Much like the shipments fiasco from 2022, I think this was an easy bump to trip on.

Here is a wild idea: If CG implements something "new" they haven't done before, why not make an official announcement in game? So every player knows about it and things like this can be avoided.
