Very true - but we’ve been teaching CG not to listen & ourselves not to expect them to. There’s all sorts of psychobabble about transactional analysis if you want to map that across the years of learned behaviours in the forum. Only way to shift the pattern is to tell new stories instead of the old ones. For that reason Master Seedy’s approach feels like a better idea than just incanting tired old saws about how rubbish CG are. Maybe I spend too much time with elves but I like optimism & a good story. Perhaps this isn’t the right new idea but it’s a whole load better than no idea. I also like the inherent valorisation of individual rosters & the way it encourages players to think for themselves rather than regurgitate YT formulas. I hope CG take the time to read the suggestion but even if they don’t maybe it will encourage people to come up with their own
