A tournament should be like this.

1. You can choose up to 20 or 25 toons among your rosters.
2. It works like galactic war nodes. You battle your way up. Each node gives you points.
3. It works exactly like gw, it carries over tm, no protection and health replenish from the last node.
4. Each player can use max of 200k ally points. Reviving a dead toon costs 5k ally points.
5. When you reach a certain point system, you're rewarded either shards or star toons. Of course, the higher points, the better reward structure.
6. A bonus round for more credits and gears.
7. Not to forget, of course player level server.

Most importantly, there's the guard system against hackers. No luck, just pure strategy as should be for a tournament.

  • Point based reward make its more fair but they don't care about that. A system like this isn't limiting enough, too many people would end up with top reward.

Also not sure how this would prevent cheating?? There is no oversight, I mean we are the ones monitoring the tournaments right now, your system no one is.

I do like the idea of a point based gw style March to the end.

I would love to see the GW style protection, health system added to the tournament, why only use a toon once if they didn't die. You should only have to pay to revive from death.
  • They can come up with gear 12 toons for higher nodes, not the typical gw node toons. I am sure we all agree to get a 6* or 7* should be extraordinary challenging.

The cheating checking would have to come from their side. Even with the reporting, they would have to manually check each and every report, which I doubt can deter any cheating. It has to be from their side, which I doubt they will invest in. No amount of reporting or manual check can prevent cheating if they aren't willing to invest.

Doesn't matter if you can buy a toon at full health or not as everyone is the on the same boat.

We all agree that the current tournament structure is boring, takes so much time, full of loopholes and reward structure is lame.
  • It's crazy to be constantly looking back and forth at the screen the last 15 minutes of the tournament. It's a game, should be fun and competitive. Not to the point of leaving everything behind to get 20 shards.
