So, I spent close to 4 hours, grinding to get into the top 10. Spent over 70k AP and with 6 hours to go, I thought I was set to make it into at least the top 100. I was dropping about 2 places every half hour, so with 90 places behind me, I was confident. Fast forward 5 hours, I check to see if I'm out of the top 25. Well, turns out I'm 440th. Absolute garbage game mode.

I'm pretty sure there are fewer shards now than in the earlier tournaments.

4 hours to spend 70K? took me about an hour to burn through 350k

Those tournaments are a waste of time. Just need to play the last 30 minutes... I was 40 yesterday and when i got up this morning, 1600. Of course, cannot play during the day so I will end the tournament at the end.

I spent 250k in the Jyn tourney and finished top 100.But the tournaments are pretty awful. I have no interest at all in the current one or the next one (especially since the next one is for a platform exclusive ship and I have the wrong platform). Might be interested in the Vader ship one. The second Jyn is a waste, since finishing top 100 again won't get me a 5*.

After trying to place high in this tournament, I've officially given up with them, for good.

Tournaments are the worst event as of now.

Sad/frustrating that its the only events giving the new characters now, which is another way of saying: FOR P2P ONLY.

It's not even that. It's for P2P that have several hours a day...and only right before the payout time. I dropped 100 spots while typing this. Lol - tournaments are a joke - and not a funny one either.

Which just proves how dumb this format is. Whether or not you place well is 100% dependent on pure luck. Not skill, or farming, or strategy, or the decision to hoard ally points, or the ability to sit at your phone for 24 hours straight. Just luck.

Agreed - I dislike these tournaments. FYI I didn't have much time to spend on this tournament - I poured time and resources into Jyn and got 20 shards for my troubles. Cassian I look like I'll get 25 for far less effort.

Hate it. 6300 points....yeah I got 20 cassian shards. Yeah!!! With all the effort. Hate that it's so unfair if other gamers get placed top 50 with 3000 points as happened in my guild. Last tournament for me for sure.

they should just throw every person in the while game into a single shard lvl 80+ and reward the top 1,000 with the character, then there is no luck. yea!
