Hate it. 6300 points....yeah I got 20 cassian shards. Yeah!!! With all the effort. Hate that it's so unfair if other gamers get placed top 50 with 3000 points as happened in my guild. Last tournament for me for sure.
Yep. I spent 50k ally points and got a 4* Jyn. And yet, in another tournament, spent over 150k and have 25 Cherry shards. Moving finish line that is also completely random based on what shard you end up on."Saraleb;814506" wrote:
A guildie joined almost exactly the same time and started top 250
Starting top 250 just means it was a new shard. More important for your point is where your guildie finished."Kyp_Daylighter2016;814478" wrote:

Wow, sorry to hear this. 6300 is enough to take 1st on some shards. Sorry man."Saraleb;814546" wrote:
Well not really.... we both start sametime... I have 5 hours make up 1799 spots he has sametime to make up 249
Not really. His shard is still being populated.
There is a possibility that his shard will end up having fewer total players than yours, but probably not if it is a 5 hour shard. A bunch of people join the tournament in the last two hours, hoping to snipe top spots.- 70k? I've gone through 500-600k just to get into the top 100, much less the top 25. It all depends on the bracket you end up in.
- I got to top 5 after spending all my points. Now I'm in the 100s with no points left. Done trying. In the future I'll spend a single 5000 daily ally points allotment when the tourney starts so I can get some free credits and then not worry about it anymore.
- I finished just outside the top 200 in the Vader thing, which I'm realizing is pretty good for a lvl 83 f2p player; but I haven't been able to crack the top 1000 in Jyn or Cassian's tourney. Every opponent I get has a lvl 85 team(even if I refresh multiple times), and I'm taking out maybe one or two of them before I get beat down, and that's if I'm lucky. The other PvP modes seem to have pretty good matchmaking, so why not this part of the game?

So, I spent close to 4 hours, grinding to get into the top 10. Spent over 70k AP and with 6 hours to go
What is your complaint exactly? 70k AP is something that vapourises in 20 minutes for last hours before end.
You gotta have 500k and more if you want to be top 100
Not true at all, I was out all day and didn't start until 70 minutes to finish, I spent 50k ap and finished 40th"Nikoms565;814413" wrote:

Tournaments are the worst event as of now.
Sad/frustrating that its the only events giving the new characters now, which is another way of saying: FOR P2P ONLY.
It's not even that. It's for P2P that have several hours a day...and only right before the payout time. I dropped 100 spots while typing this. Lol - tournaments are a joke - and not a funny one either.
True.
Though if I had maxed out Rogue One team as defense, and played about 8 matches (winning them all), I think I could place top 100 if not higher easily.- I spent 280k in the Jyn tournament and got her at 7*.
This time I started with 6 hours to go, spent about 170k and got Cassian at 6*. 1. and 2. raced a bit, which was out of my reach so I didn't bother.
The bracket was 80-85, but nothing really over 34.000 squad rating.
But I guess, I wont be that lucky when I get to 85.
Then I can start farming different thing for gw tokens instead of ally points.
