Ahsoka Tano rework.



Ahsoka tano rework:

Health boost. Shield boost. Speed boost. (To account for her passive being changed.)
Damage boost.

Abilities:

Energetic slash: Deals physical damage to the target with a 40% chance to attack again, or 100% on a critical hit. Each hit recovers health equal to 7.5% of her maximum health.

Protective Maneuver: deals physical damage to the target and heals all allies health by 15% of their maximum health. If the target was under 50% health, both the damage and healing are increased by 50%.

Quick steps: each time a Jedi ally other than Ahsoka is attacked, they have a 50% chance to gain speed up.

Daring padawan: eager as ever, Ahsoka starts the match with critical chance up and speed up. These last indefinitely and cannot be dispelled by normal means.
If however she receives a critical hit whilst these are active, both effects will be dispelled. Ahsoka can renew these effects the next time she successfully attacks a target. In addition, If she attacks a target whilst they are in effect, she is granted offence up and retribution for one turn. These cannot be dispelled even if she is critically struck.
(In other words, her eagerness payed off, it's rampage time)
  • I'm not sure about a total rework, but I do think she would be better balanced and get more use if instead of having three crit dependant buffs (+45% health +45 speed and 15% crit chance), they just added the health to base and let the other two remain as the crit dependancies.
  • Those who think she needs a buff/ rework, either don't have her maxed or don't understand how she works, I've used her lots of times unmodded against modded teams, she is still one of my favorite toons in this game, but as many other toons, if she's not teamed up right, she would look like a gutter toon
  • I use Ashoka on my arena team (Phasma l. Snips, Rey, QGJ and RG) and am in the top 25. Her heal attack hits hard when she is fully geared and can heal my other toons after they go yellow, helping to protect Rey after RG'a taunt is dispelled. I also have mods to up her speed and critical hit, so she goes often. With the right team, she is great.
  • She doesn't need a full rework--just her leader ability, which is ridiculous. One of her issues is that at this current level cap her gear tops out at 10 +1 scanner. There's about a dozen other toons who top out at 11 and the average toon still tops out with three or four pieces more than her. This gives her I think the lowest base power in the game at level 80.

    One thing I do hope they do going forward is fix her leader ability. Get rid of the ridiculous double tap with Old Ben and give her something unique. The other thing I hope they do is give her gear on the road from 80 to 90 that will increase her base speed 10-15 points.

    Umm...no. Actually mods help. You realize there are arrow mod with "Crit Avoidance" of 20%+ out there. Those almost seem like they were made just for her. She is used on a few top 20 arena teams I have seen on my early December shard. Does she crush? No. But she is very viable - especially on a JKA-lead team.


    Those crit avoidance mods should be slapped on the high health tank-like characters such as RG, Fives, or Savage to make it harder for you to eat through them. Not on a low health attacker just to keep her passive up to make her viable. Thing is when they reworked her back in March they turned her into one of the fastest characters. Since then though, others have caught up and her speed has become average. IMO you have to slap speed and crit mods onto her to keep her viable.

    No offense, but this argument is just plain stupid. Just because a char is not op-meta doesn't mean that this char is needs a general/significant buff. Also, jedi arena squads are already rare and healers are generally non-meta. So this observation is already heavily biased towards non-jedis/healers.

    Arena is only one aspect and ahsoka does fine in PvE. This is true also for many many other toons. Buffing toons into oblivion just pushes meta-borders all day long, which in turn render other toons underwhelming, which need to be buffed ..... rinse and repeat ad infinitum. This is hardly a solution nor a desired game state.

    Of course all toons needs some refinement and the balancing needs to be adjusted to have not such a huge gap between meta-toons and all the rest. But there will be always more or less the "best viable tactic" which drives the meta. This can't hardly be the argumentative basis for evaluation the performance of non-meta.

    She's in my GW A team and my Raid A team. Swapped her out for Rey on my raid team and haven't looked back. I swapped her cause her group heal keeps my TM reducers alive longer and she's still speedy enough to where I didn't waste a spot for a pure healer

    That would require me being around at payout time. I am lucky if I get two battles done in the two hours before payout (RL issues). :-)
