My mind had only been blown once by CG and that was when we got 3 fully crafted mk5 droid callers for GC rewards. CG will never make that mistake again. Let’s just hope CG doesn’t disappoint us like they did for May the 4th.

I have never been disappointed by free stuff given out in a video game. (even chewie shards)

If you have no expectations... Free useful items always please. Free junk doesn't, it can be taken as an insult.

It can be, but why? There are always new players joining the game & those things are useful to them.

Also, Clone Wars Chewie shards might be "junk" but I'd be disappointed if I didn't get some around anniversary time. They took that junk & made it into an inside joke for the long-timers (while the newbs still need those shards, so everyone wins). Which is to say, even something that starts as junk won't necessarily stay that way.

I have an alt account and I don't need clone wars chewie shards. There is currently no reason to star him up. Other than the fact that if you play long enough, you get enough bronzium pulls to 7 add tar him.

But it is an inside joke so I'm ok if we get a few. But it should be in addition to some actual rewards.
