It's an honest reply so I respect that and yeah the crystal income is very clutch in saving money and getting more value. So I can understand why people benefiting from the system would want to protect it. Sadly shard experiences are so variable like you say, very much a dice roll.
I've read alot of these kinda posts and you get similar kinds of replies and experiences. Some great and some like mine not so much. I'm just really surprised that after all these years they don't seem to care much about fleet and have done nothing not just with the crystals but with the concept itself. It gives rise to toxic player environments where skill or strategy mean very little. That's especially true when you are capped at 5 battles and they can use most of their's attacking you and still preserve their position. It is a manifestly unfair system and this isn't really a new take.
Really appreciate the view and glad you are doing well in it, this isn't a poke at people who are making the best of a poor system but a commentary in what i perceive as injustice and bad design. I've made my choice and I'm fine with that but i don't think it should go unremarked upon. be interesting to know how much of the player base have this kind of view and how it effects purchasing.
I don't want to see this game die although looking at their recent profits it is not likely in the near future, but i also won't commit anymore money when you can get frozen out through something you have no control over. That isn't competitive play it's exploitative and wrong. If enough people did that it might get their attention.
