Another Fleet Mafia

So I've read many threads on this topic on both Reddit and here and tbf I'm likely to say the same thing but it is very disappointing that CG does not appear to care about this issue and appears more...

I didn't get my PO, therefore I must have been cheated. You know, the PO I'm entitled to.

Quoting policies that clearly don't apply to the matter at hand is silly. You're quoting things about sexual harassment, for crying out loud. You not making it to 1st for your PO, I would highly doubt as being a concern within the scope for that policy.

Can you link to this charter you're referring to? Is it SWGoH specific, or EA general, as I don't know of a way to kill a teammate in this game. Like. At all. It's not even used nomenclature in the game nor its community.

Everyone is innocent and NEVER in the wrong. Got a guy on my Fleet server who made Youtube videos for his channel on how easy it is to make your daily fleet crystals. Of course, it was made by sniping someone else's PO. Tried posting on the video, tried sending in game messages. No reply.

So from a shard's point of view, they're protecting their interests from threats.

Someone keeping you from achieving your PO isn't bullying anymore than a GAC opponent not letting you win.

You really think this is the last bastion of systems being min/maxed? GAC isn't manipulated by purposeful throwing matches to stay in K2? I mean, I see far more of those posts complaining. What about TW and sandbagging? Far more destructive.

Truth be told, this is a big issue now solely because Leviathan is a 100% win rate. You used to just rank up your pilots and it was a non issue. Now people in Aurodium are like, "Dude, where's my handout?!" while swimming in a sea of Kyber level accounts.

How did your conversations go w/ these 3 people?

'Min-max' is a term used when you try to abuse match making by making your team/roster/army as minimal as possible, but at its most lethally effective, zero fat. 'Min-maxing' would be an issue in GP GAC, for example. Where you'd deliberately keep your GP as low as possible, but extremely effective in your GP bracket. The sand-bagging you talk about in TW, is essentially 'min-maxing'. Where guilds limit signing up to only very effective players, trying to pair with a guild that is playing normally and thus outmatched at the GP. I totally agree; TW is probably more of a problem than Ship Arenas.

  Right, and in Fleet, it was leveling your pilots. Leviathan is a no skill fleet. Acquire and you get 100% win rate. Now since you can't lose, the sense of entitlement is out of control.
  
  I can't wait for the next Fleet meta, assuming they don't do the 100% win rate again, this problem largely fixes itself.

    Yes, but that's not min-maxing as you'll face the same people whatever. Min maxing is having the minimum rating, so that you can face players in a lower category. You can't min-max when everybody is on the same ladder.
    Or are you saying players didn't level the pilots to min-max in GA (GAC now) and/or TW?
    Personally, I much prefer the 100% win-rate metas. Much less stress and time involved. Again though, as long as you're in a fleet shard run by good, fair people.
    I also agree that, more often than not the players frozen out of the shard have usually made mistakes, haven't compromised or not taken polite steps to contact those in the 'shard group/mafia'. However, not always.
